New Urbanists calling for retooling the industry and New Vista is creating a scheme of Rectangular Villages (oh how I hate these grids anyway).

Mind blowing?
Some interesting ideas, like the hubs for villages, and the hillside housing (unsure about how the drainage works in the utility piping)
Applying these theoretical forms in the diagrammatic, repetitive, manner results in unacceptable conformity.
In reality the landform and other environmental context would mean that much more variety and distinctiveness could result.
Do not like the visualisation of the appearance of the houses (I produced a better result when playing on a SIMS WII at my daughter's house over Christmas).
